USB ICD2 Clone

Since i needed a debugger for my PIC projects i searched the web for a easy to build device. So this is what i found and build: ICD2-USB. I didnt make any changes since the design itself was okay for me. After i finished the PCB I build a case out of plexi and a few screws.
Unfortunately the ICD2 is rather slow. It takes about 15 seconds to load and run a programm; stopping and requesting data also takes much time (about 5seconds). On top of that, every single variable i want to spy on has to be loaded seperatly.
Perhaps I will build a more advanced ICD in the future. Most of the common known designs use a PIC18F4550 which I already worked with.
